Soyuzivka: Your Hudson Valley Wedding Destination

We are located within the most beautiful and scenic location along the Shawangunk Ridge with a magnificent vista of the iconic Catskill Mountains. It is THE perfect venue for your special day.

Combined with the rustic charm of our property, a Soyuzivka wedding is one that you will never forget.  Whether your dream is a reception for 250, or an intimate affair for 50; a 3-day Ukrainian celebration or, one that embraces your culture, Soyuzivka offers the flexibility to customize your needs.

We know that every wedding is unique! We encourage you to contact us, so our dedicated wedding planner and Maitre’D can begin to collaborate with you and plan out your wedding day.  For your convenience, we partner with various specialists and local talent including (but not limited to) bands, florists, decorators, bakeries, car services, makeup artists, photographers, and hair stylists.  We will help arrange any of these features of your wedding.

Who We Are

At Soyuzivka, rustic charm unites with comfortable amenities and stunning views. From the comfort of staying on the premises to inspiring views on the Veselka patio, you will be embraced by the mountain splendor and will walk away from the experience with unquestionable intentions to return.

With eighty rooms available, spread out over 11 enchanting stone and wood cottages, your guests will find instant serenity and comfort.  Our property provides a cozy ambiance for a good book or romantic stroll.  Offering on-site accommodations are a convenience for your guests to truly enjoy your Wedding without having to worry about driving home afterwards.  A honeymoon suite complete with Jacuzzi and fireplace is a romantic hideaway for the bride and groom. A private cottage is available for the bridal party. The turn-of-the-last century historic buildings, with original stone fireplaces, have a unique charm in a woodland setting. The Main House, built in 1907, includes the Kwas library and Sophia’s Kitchen which can be made available during your event.

Come visit and tour both our indoor and outdoor venues.  The Veselka Hall offers seating up to 250 guests for a sit-down dinner.  However, nothing beats the Veselka Deck as it offers breathtaking Catskill Mountain views creating a one-of-a-kind event. For a more intimate and enchanting Wedding experience, we have several lawns available nestled between the forest tree lines.  We also have the capability to create spaces for your get-togethers and rehearsal dinners.

With all the amenities that Soyuzivka has to offer as well as the beauty of the area, you can plan a weekend-long celebration!  We are dedicated to offer you and your guests a memorable experience to last a lifetime.

Soyuzivka offers a wide variety of menus, from traditional to tailored.  Our catering services are conducted 100% on-premises and led by our award-winning Executive Chef Andriy Sonevytsky – a graduate from the Culinary Institute of America.  He will personally meet with you to collaborate on your meals from rehearsal dinner to the reception and even your farewell brunch.  Chef’s experience is equal to none when it comes to creations of taste, texture and artistic presentation in order to make your special celebration a culinary delight.

We work with you in creating an event that will provide you and your guests with the perfect combination of experience and cost. Whether you desire a buffet luncheon, traditional Eastern European style reception, or a sit-down dinner, Soyuzivka can handle any event and for every budget. We will be happy to customize your occasion to make it truly yours.

It is truly our pleasure to work for you.  Contact us today to learn more about Weddings and events at Soyuzivka Ukrainian Heritage Center.
