2020/2021 Fundraising

Dear Friend of Soyuzivka,

We hope that you and your loved ones are keeping safe and healthy. The pandemic has impacted all of our lives in meaningful ways, and we wanted you to know that it has also affected Soyuzivka.

Soyuzivka is an iconic location that has, for generations, allowed Ukrainians everywhere to come together and celebrate Ukrainian history and culture. Since March 2020, however, Soyuzivka has been left without its usual sources of income from its camps, festivals and other in-person events. At the same time, the expense of running Soyuzivka has continued. The financial impact of the pandemic has been considerable.

In order to raise funds for the continued operation of Soyuzivka, we are kicking off our most ambitious fundraising plan yet, and we need your support! We invite you to participate in our fundraiser to “Rekindle the Magic of Soyuzivka.” Please join us with a financial contribution to ensure Soyuzivka is able to provide the same Ukrainian cultural events and community for generations to come. Any donation is tax-deductible and will help make a substantial impact.

There are other ways to contribute to Soyuzivka too! For instance, we have just launched our Silent Auction, which is filled with beautiful Ukrainian artwork, clothing and jewelry, as well as amazing Soyuzivka experiences to take advantage of in the upcoming year. Please check it out and consider bidding on some of these wonderful items for yourself or as a gift for a loved one!

Finally, please SAVE THE DATE on January 16, 2021 for our VIRTUAL GALA EVENT. We are planning a memorable night filled with performances and testimonials to bring the magic of Soyuzivka directly to your home. More information to follow soon!

Thank you in advance for your continued support of and contribution to our beloved Soyuzivka, which means so much to us.

Soyuzivka is part of the Ukrainian National Foundation, Inc., an independent, registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, which means that all your donations go directly to Soyuzivka and are tax deductible to the extent the law allows. Specifically, your donation will first go to cover the fixed operating costs Soyuzivka faces due to a loss of revenue from the pandemic for the 2020 financial year. These fixed costs include land, electricity, tax, and other related expenses that are crucial to operating the property. Donations after these costs are covered will go directly to improvements at Soyuzivka.
